The 3 Biggest Mushroom Festival Questions Answered:

The Mushroom Festival takes place in our home town of Kennett Square and it is an event attended by more than 100,000 people over 2 days! With that being said, if you haven’t been to the Festival before you may have a lot of questions before you go. There is a lot of great info on the Mushroom Festival website: But for a quick overview, here are 3 questions you are probably asking yourself:

Guests 12 and over will need to purchase a wristband to access the Festival. So kids are free! The wristband is a reasonable $3.

Dogs: Dogs are not allowed, sorry Keith, Trevor and Tilly, you will all have to stay home that weekend!

There are red signs for Festival Parking for satellite parking lots that will have shuttle service. There is free parking on side streets of Kennett, but those spaces will go fast and make sure you don’t accidentally park in any permit parking.

Other than that, I would go with an open mind and ready to enjoy the festivities!

GreenRoots Booth Sneak Peek:

For this year, and last year, we only have 3 hours to get the booth built and ready for visitors. So as you can imagine, it takes a lot of organization and preparation to get a full, albeit mini, landscape design up! Most of the work is done ahead of time so that we can piece it together the morning of the festival. Thom, our carpenter, already has most of our pieces made for this year, here is a sneak peek of this years booth:

If you visit the Mushroom Festival, be sure to stop by our booth and say hello! We hope to see you all there!
